Is YardSailor really free?
Absolutely! You may access and enjoy all the features of YardSailor at no charge
whatsoever. The many great features of YardSailor include free membership, free yard
sale listings, free listing searches, and free yard sale resources. All we ask, is that
when you visit a yard sale found on this site, please tell them that you saw it on
Yardailor.com.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Go to the My YardSailor login page, enter your e-mail
address, and click the "Lost Password" button. Your password will be immediately sent to the
entered email address.
Why do you need my address when I signup?
By gathering your address, we can quickly present to you information that pertains to
your area, such upcoming yard sales. Also, when you add a listing, your address will be
automatically entered for you, and during searches, your zip code & state are automatically
entered for you, saving you time and effort.
Can I search by multiple zip code or cities?
Yes. You may enter multiple items in the following search fields: City, Zip Code,
Area Code, and Items For Sale. To search for multiple items, simply enter each item, separating
each by a comma. For example, to search for clothes, toys, and tools, enter: clothes, toys, tools
in the Items For Sale text box found on either the Quick Search or Advanced Search pages.
Why can't my sale listing be more than four days?
Typically, yard sales are held over the course of a weekend, so four days will be adequate
for most listings. If you wish to list a yard sale that is longer than four days or is held over two
consecutive weekends, you must add two separate listings. Please remember: This does NOT mean that
your listing will only be displayed for four days. Your YardSailor listing will be displayed from
the day you submit it until after the sale ends. Once entered, the start and end dates of each sale
cannot be manually readjusted, so be sure the correct dates are entered for each of your listings.
How do I confirm my YardSailor membership?
Go to the Sign Up Confirmation Page.
Enter your e-mail address and the confirmation code e-mailed to you in the spaces provided and click
the "Submit" button. A confirmation screen will appear when your membership has been activated. If
you don't know your confirmation code, just enter your e-mail address and click the "Resend Code" button.
Your confirmation code will be immediately sent to the entered email address.
Why has my YardSailor account or listing been suspended?
Your YardSailor listing may have contained inappropriate or unacceptable content. To
discuss further, send us an e-mail.
